Functional and Innovative Solid State Materials for Highly Efficient Energy and Environmental and Biological Concinnity

ABOUT US

We are devoted to designing, synthesizing and analyzing the functional solid state materials for efficient energy production, conversion as well as application to achieve the sustainable environmental concinnity. Our research interests focus on the development of novel energy materials such as electrodes or electrolytes of rechargeable batteries, solid oxide fuel cells or electrochemical sensors, and also on the investigations of their mechanisms in terms of electrochemistry, inorganic chemistry, solid state chemistry and X-ray crystallography. We have revealed the structural change of electrodes in the relaxation process at the charge-discharge cycles. We has also focused on biomimetic methods, synthetic processes of ceramics inspired from the activity of the organisms, and has been studying fabrication of biomaterials expressing a variety of functions in biological environment by the synthetic processes based on materials chemistry, crystal chemistry, solution chemistry and biochemistry.
